Sound and visual artist Dave Leith chose Iona Beach in Richmond, BC as the site to position a live sound performance. Leith was interested in the vast sense of spatial expanse the site provides. The openness of sky, paralleled to the waters horizon, juxtaposed with the solidity of a log littered beachhead and distant majestic mountains.
Leith picked a specific location on the beachhead and began recording the sounds from within the natural landscape to incorporate in his composition, which will be accompanied with a live performance by Leith.
